Prometheus – Master of Fire and Cosmos

Be sure to catch the concert featuring Anna Levy and Jane Hayes – the Yarilo Music Ensemble – in a concert entitled “Prometheus – Master of Fire and Cosmos,” which will take place at Vancouver’s Christ Church Cathedral on Saturday, June 20 at 2:00 p.m. The concert is in honour of distinguished Canadian composer Alexina Louie on the occasion of her 60th birthday, and will compositions by her along with fellow Canadians John Burke and Jocelyn Morlock. The program will feature the North American premiere of Alexander Scriabin’s masterpiece “Prometheus – Poem of Fire” in a version for two pianos.
